Fake email about KufNet merger

Attention KufNet customers!

Today, an email with the subject line “KufNet merges with A1 Telekom Austria” was circulated. This is a spam message. Do not click on the attached file under any circumstances, and please delete the email immediately.

Important information and recommended actions

• Explicitly check the sender’s email address
• Do not click on any links or attachments
• Do not reply to suspicious emails
• Never share login details, passwords, or personal information
• If an email is identified as fraudulent, block the sender’s address if possible
• When in doubt, simply delete the email
