KufNet expands fiber optic technology
The demands on internet connections are constantly increasing. Media streaming and working from home, in particular, are driving more traffic on the data highways. For this reason, KufNet now connects new properties exclusively with state-of-the-art fiber-optic technology. This enables top speeds and a high level of reliability.
Ongoing Expansion and Modernization
Since the beginning of 2021, KufNet has been working on modernizing its networks in the district capital of Kufstein and in Langkampfen. Existing copper cables are gradually being replaced with the goal of creating a comprehensive fiber-optic network.
Everything from a Single Source
“We are proud that we can cover almost all activities with our own employees from the region. From planning and in-house installation to support by our competent SORGLOS team, we are happy to assist our customers,” explains Armin Eder, Head of Division at KufNet.
High Availability
Almost every building in the fortress town has a KufNet connection. Stadtwerke Kufstein supplies around 12,000 customers in 14 communities with television, internet, and landline telephony.
KufNet continues to expand and is available in Kufstein, Langkampfen, Ebbs, Erl, Niederndorf, Niederndorferberg, Rettenschöss, Walchsee, Kössen, Schwendt, Söll, parts of Schwoich, Kirchbichl, and Thiersee.
